Parented by the past,
I was stillborn
Into the cloudfall of present;
A warm moment in the mist.
But then,
All gone,
My parents’ promises,
The promises for my future,
Fleet only in my memory like forgotten pasts.
Nothing lasts,
Not even hopes that future times protect by lack of currency.
But now,
Ahead of all the losses,
Frail and frantic,
Beats the silence of my heart that calls me on to whisper secrets in its ear.
