Ten point synopsis of Practical Metaphysics

1.   Time is not how it appears.

2.    Substance is not how it appears.

3.    I suspect there is a reality different from my experience.

 4.    My consciousness makes me crucial to any reality.

 5.    The universe is not ‘larger’ than me. It is easier for us to look out to the grander scale, but in truth it is as much on the smaller. My consciousness of it means it is all within me.

 6.    Fragments of reality sometimes intrude into my world of consciousness.

 7.    These fragments come when I am closest to the fundamental (non-temporal, non-substantial) qualities of the world.

 8.    The best example to us of non-temporal non-substantial closeness is love.

 9.    Mutual love can only be experienced with another consciousness though different experiences of love can be had with unconscious entities.

 10.    Interaction with others or with the unconscious world can bring about sensations of reality that are both transcending and elevating.
